There are some things that can bring a smile to our faces – and the LOEWE Panda bear is one of them.

Invented almost by accident by one of the craftsmen in the LOEWE atelier located in the outskirts of Madrid, the adorable animal-shaped leather coin purses were made up out from leftover leather, using techniques in assemblage which are similar to that of the bulls and elephants in LOEWE’s line of Animals.

The resulting effect is indeed a feat of extraordinary quality and functionality.

Also fashioned into a mini bag and a charm, the LOEWE Panda features meticulous craftsmanship carried out in a six-phase process.

These include separating the leather, splitting, gluing, stitching, as well as embossing the logo by hand.
