Katya Warped kicks off 2017 with her latest story: ‘Gabunia’. Created exclusively for Couture Troopers, the striking editorial takes on the decades-old premise of ‘The Model as Muse’, encapsulating on the style and femininity of model Alla Gabunia.

Doused in shimmering metallics and gold, with styling and makeup by Anna Istomina, the spread evokes a festive mood and a celebratory spirit, while channeling the concept of elusiveness, weightlessness, and ephemerality – all of which are the charming personalities of Alla herself.

According to Katya, Alla Gabunia is a highly in-demand model who often travels to different foreign countries. It was a true joy for the photographer and her team to be able to have the opportunity to work with Alla.

‘Gabunia’ was shot in Cheboksary, Russia.
