There have been many talks about Coach Wisma Atria in the days leading to its reopening party and ceremony last night.
For one, Korean-American star Jay Park was set to be gracing the event, and that was enough to make many fan girls hyped up over the arrival of their favourite celebrity – proven by the sheer number of retweets and reposts made whenever a social media update about the singer was being posted.
The anticipation in the air was indeed evident and unmistakable.
So when the party finally happened yesterday, you could imagine the screams and squealing that ensued as soon as the singer set foot into the store, from both the public crowding outside, as well as the invited guests.
Camera flashes went on and off immediately, and everyone wasted no chance in snapping a photo of him.
Park himself remained unfazed, smiling infectiously into cameras and granting firm handshakes to the guests as well as local Mediacorp actor and actress Elvin Ng and Jeannette Aw, who were both present to welcome him.

Indeed, it was a fitting way to reopen the new Modern Luxury store, whose next generation redesign and concept for the brand has been developed by Coach Executive Creative Director Stuart Vevers in partnership with world renowned creative firm Studio Sofield, led by Designer and President William Sofield.

The revamp for the flagship store with an expansive 4,600 square foot space embodies the ethos of the brand by placing a high focus on contrasting textures and luxe materials such as hand-tufted carpeting and warm wood finishes alongside complementing, modern backdrop of video walls and contemporary artwork.
Housing an extensive range of women’s and men’s collections as well, the store, touted as Coach’s largest outlet in Southeast Asia, also features the complete line of Coach products, including fragrance, sunglasses, watches and outerwear, as well as occasional special edition pieces and exclusive collaborations, including the much-coveted Coach x Peanuts collection (below)!
The handbags that Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s pups posed with for the #CoachPups campaign will also be available in the store.
Customers who love to add an extra dose of individuality to their leather wares would also be pleased to know that there is a dedicated monogram shop that provides guests with complimentary personalisation services.
