Fans of the UK designer, rejoice.

For the first time, step into BORA AKSU‘s first-ever Singapore (and South East Asia) store – situated right in the heart of the country’s downtown core, at The Shoppes in Marina Bay Sands – to experience the beauty of the designer’s rivetingly romantic demi-couture garments.

Known for dressing celebrities from the likes of Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding, Elle Fanning, Marion Cotillard, and Keira Knightley, to name a few, and a reoccurring highlight on the official London Fashion Week schedule, the designer’s new store showcases the latest seasonal apparel from his Autumn/ Winter 2018 collection, featuring a kaleidoscope of contrasting opulence and simplicity that celebrates the extraordinary tale of Margaret Ann Bulkley.

They are housed alongside his Spring/ Summer 2018 collection, hosiery line and handbag collection.

At first glance, the store is ultra-feminine, dreamy and modern. Punctuated with glistening gold borders, marble flooring, alongside whimsical illustrations, the enchanting store ambience is indeed reminiscent of BORA AKSU’s ethereal warrior-like creations.

Like all the other BORA AKSU stores in the region, the one in Singapore is reminiscent of the brand’s distinctive signature; romantic but always with a darker twist. Once you step into the store, you will notice several illustrations which I’ve drawn over the years, defining and creating the girl of BORA AKSU – feminine, delicate, graceful, dreamy and an incurable romantic.”

Together with an ensemble of pinstripe culottes and matching blazers, velvet jumpsuits, wide-leg trousers, as well as dresses in sorbet shades and elaborate embellishments, the new store will doubtlessly elevate the designer’s presence in the Asian Pacific region, a fact further substantiated with plans to open in Korea, expanding into Europe and into the United States.
