Not every celebrity campaign feels convincing. Sometimes the clothes wear the ambassador instead of the other way around.

Jackson Yee has never had that problem.

Emporio Armani’s global ambassador returns for the house’s Fall/Winter 2026 campaign, photographed by acclaimed Chinese fashion photographer Xu Chuang. Set inside a music academy, the campaign brings together British-inspired tailoring and Italian ease, continuing the conversation first introduced on the Fall/Winter 2026 runway without simply recreating it.

Xu Chuang rarely pulls back to reveal the entire space. Instead, the camera stays close to Jackson Yee, allowing the cut of a jacket, the drape of a coat and the precision of the tailoring to take centre stage. The music academy appears in fragments rather than sweeping establishing shots, enough to hint at discipline and creativity without distracting from the clothes themselves.

That choice works.

The Fall/Winter 2026 collection explored British dressing through Emporio Armani’s softer approach to tailoring. The campaign picks up those same ideas, translating them from the runway into everyday moments without losing their sense of refinement.

Jackson Yee makes that transition believable.

As an actor, musician and one of China’s most influential fashion figures, he has built his public image on restraint rather than excess. That quality comes through in every photograph. Nothing feels forced. Nothing feels overly styled. He isn’t playing a character for the campaign. He simply looks comfortable in Emporio Armani, and that’s far more persuasive than any elaborate storyline could have been.

Xu Chuang keeps the photography clean and restrained. The architecture frames Jackson Yee without competing for attention, allowing the tailoring to remain the focal point.

Luxury campaigns often try to leave an impression by becoming bigger, louder or more cinematic. Emporio Armani goes in the opposite direction. Jackson Yee, precise tailoring and Xu Chuang’s photography are enough to carry the story. They also remind us that the strongest campaigns don’t always need the biggest ideas.
