The Opening Charity Night Gala of the Men’s Fashion Week Singapore 2012 (MFW), the biggest menswear fashion event in Asia, is set to be an evening filled with Global Mega Superstars, A-Listers, and Asian Male Supermodels, all converging at The Sands Expo and Convention Center at Marina Bay Sands on 18 April 2012.
This fashion and music night will kickstart the highly anticipated Men’s Fashion Week 2012, which is slated to be a sensational highlight where a fusion of fashion and music will take place like never before, resulting in a beautiful concoction of sartorial elegance and eclectic beats.

On the Opening Night, expect to see award-winning Steinway pianists tickling the ivory throughout the evening, while guests get to enjoy gourmet canapés and free flow drinks, followed by the spectacular opening shows from two internationally acclaimed designers, SONGZIO from Korea, as well as UK label SPENCER HART, who is a firm favourite of Hollywood and Asian male celebrity superstars.
During the night, 3 noteworthy and electrifying musical acts will be creating a musical phenomena alongside the ornately paraded outfits from the two designer labels. First up will be internet music sensation, Sungha Jung, who is famed for his acoustric finger-styled guitar strings, and he will be creating a fascinating musical performance with his talent in interpreting the different layers of motions of the tracks.
Korean-American singer, songwriter as well as actress, Megan Lee will also be showcasing her mesmerizing vocals in soulful songs during this glamourous fashion night.
Last but not least, Korean band 8eight, who was likened to the Black Eyed Peas, for their strong vocal talents and R&B/soul music style, were winners of the inaugural MBC’s Show Survival in South Korea, and they will be bringing the house down with a jam session during the gala night!
And to end the evening, Nick Hart, Designer of Spencer Hart, will be the guest DJ for the party, hosted by Songzio.

Throughout the five-day Men’s Fashion Week 2012, look out for Korean & Japanese Pop and International stars who will be gracing as well as performing during this fashionable event of the year, such as Japanese actor Tanihara Shosuke, Japanese actor-singer Kajimi Yasuke, Korean singer Se7en (aka Choi Dong-wook), Korean-American rock band Royal Pirates, Japanese singer-composer H Zett M.

Top Korean male supermodels, Lee Jeong Shin (from CNBlue) and Lee Su Hyuk, will also be making an appearance with international male supermodel and face of MFW Singapore 2011, Philip Huang, during the spectacular Men’s Fashion Week Singapore 2012!

And that’s not all, more international stars and performers for this extravaganza fashion event in the world of menswear, will be revealed in the weeks leading up to the event.
